So today has been a busy day - and they’ll be quite a lot of updates.
First up - we went on a shopping trip with the Level 3 students to purchase the materials for their final works, in the Orussey and Olympic markets.
Orussey is a great place anyway, but i’d never been to the streets behind it. Led by our trusty students, we found LOADS of clothshops, with material of all kinds piled high and spilling into the roads.
This is normally where they buy the cloth for their canvases, but today we were looking for coloured material to spraypaint some stencils on. Cue some long and detailed conversations about optimal colour combinations …
We also bought a bunch of other stuff too - spraypaint, boards, foam boxes, though unfortunately i was too caught up in negotiations to get pictures there too…
