After chatting with the musicans yesterday, they were pretty keen to explore some upbeat, “fast computer music”. So today i have been working on a few drum loops to use with them next week, and thought you all might to hear a really early sketch of one idea i’m working on.
All the sounds included here were created from some short recordings we made on friday with the musicians, using the Big Gong, Tro Sao and the Samphor drum.
Well, all the sounds except for one - we were woken up this morning by the sounds of the temple next door. They have been chanting / playing / chanting ever since, so i thought i’d add a bit into the mix …
